Hotel Museumzicht is a small hotel on the Jan Luijkenstraat, with a view of the Museumplein from almost every room. The Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk and Moco are right on the doorstep. It occupies the second to fourth floors of an old townhouse without a lift, so it is less suitable for guests with limited mobility; bring several small bags rather than one heavy suitcase.
A generous breakfast with organic coffee is served from 08:30 to 10:30, and the breakfast room has a small book-swap library. Free Wi-Fi, non-smoking throughout. Reception is closed from 22:00 to 08:00, but guests get a front-door key. Check-in from 14:00, check-out before 11:00, with luggage storage. Bus 397 runs to and from Schiphol (also at night), and trams 2 and 12 run from Centraal Station to Museumplein.
