SWEETS Sluis Haveneiland is a hotel suite in a former bridge-keeper’s house by the lock in IJburg, with views over the IJmeer, the harbour and sailing boats passing through the lock, plus a jetty for sunbathing. A surf centre is about ten minutes’ walk, and seasonal ferries run to Fort Pampus and Muiderslot Castle. Tram 26 connects with Centraal Station.
