THIS IS HOLLAND is an experience about the Netherlands in Amsterdam Noord. It consists of two shows about Holland past and present, a nine-minute flight simulation over the country, filmed with helicopters and drones from the coast and countryside to festivals and windmills, and the Holland Lounge. A visit takes about an hour.
The shows are narrated in Dutch; the free THIS IS HOLLAND Companion app lets you follow along in your own language on your phone, so download it before you go.
Booking a time slot is not required but recommended; arrive 15 minutes early. Children under 4 or shorter than 100 cm cannot take part in the flight simulation.
Getting there: take the free ferry from the IJ side of Centraal Station to Buiksloterweg (every few minutes), then walk about four minutes.
