Nxt Museum, founded in 2020 in a former television studio in Amsterdam Noord, is the Netherlands’ museum for new media art. Its immersive installations and exhibitions sit at the intersection of art, sound and technology, exploring how technology shapes the way we perceive, think and live together. Exhibitions change regularly.
Guided tours in English or Dutch are available on request, and there are workshops for students, schools and groups.
Getting there: take the ferry to Buiksloterweg (about 5 minutes) and walk about 20 minutes or cycle about 10; or metro 52 to Noorderpark and walk about 10 minutes. Parking is very limited.
