Collectie Six is the private art collection of the Six family, kept in their house on the Amstel. Its most famous work is Rembrandt’s portrait of Jan Six, a friend of the painter, painted in 1654. The collection also includes other Dutch Golden Age paintings and family heirlooms.
Because it is a private home, visits are only possible on a guided tour booked in advance. Check the official website for available dates.
