Duende on the Lindengracht, behind the Noorderkerk, calls itself the oldest tapas bar in the Netherlands, combining Spanish tapas, wine, music and performances for more than 35 years. Choose from over 50 simple tapas, including plenty of vegetable dishes; summer terrace. A small theatre in the back room hosts flamenco, world music and Spanish-language comedy.
