Toscanini opened in 1985 and has been on the Lindengracht in the Jordaan since 1990. Chef Leonardo Pacenti, in the kitchen since 1999, cooks intuitively with what is in season, drawing on Italy’s regional kitchens; the menu and daily specials change often, paired with a mostly Italian wine list.
Book up to a month ahead; groups are limited to eight. The online Toscanini Deli sells fresh pasta, sauces, cheeses and salumi.
