Eethuis Lalibela on the Eerste Helmersstraat calls itself the oldest Ethiopian restaurant in the Netherlands, named after the town famous for its eleven rock-hewn churches. Traditional Ethiopian dishes are eaten with your hands from injera, a slightly sour pancake-like bread, with sides such as azifa lentils, alecha wot and spiced spinach; there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options at friendly prices.
