De Nieuwe Schatkamer is the museum of De Nederlandsche Bank, the Dutch central bank, in the renovated former vaults on the Frederiksplein. Exhibitions explore money, gold, art and the economy, and entry, exhibitions, the audio tour and events are all free.
The exhibition Everything of value shows over 400 objects from the National Numismatic Collection, including coins, banknotes, medals and a silver bar. A permanent art display presents around 40 works by Dutch and international artists.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. No reservation needed.
