SWEETS Kattenslootbrug is a self-contained hotel suite in a former bridge-keeper’s house from 1952 by the Kattenslootbrug, a bascule bridge on the Kostverlorenvaart. It was the last bridge house designed by Amsterdam School architect Pieter Lodewijk Kramer, and became one of the SWEETS hotel suites in 2017.
It sleeps a maximum of two guests (over 21 only). The Jordaan is next door: the Haarlemmerstraat is about eight minutes’ walk and the Noordermarkt nine, and buses reach Centraal Station in about eleven minutes.
