Chez Georges is a small restaurant on the Herenstraat with 30–35 seats spread over three floors, giving each party a living-room intimacy. Each table is sold only once a night, so you can take your time. The cooking is classic French with careful sauces and seasonal produce: scallops, gambas, North Sea fish, hare, veal tournedos and Ghent waterzooi with duck confit, with five- to seven-course menus.
