The Grand is set between two historic canals in the old centre. Over the centuries the building has served as a 15th-century convent, a royal residence, the headquarters of the Dutch Admiralty and Amsterdam’s city hall.
Guests can dine at restaurant Bridges or the Mediterranean Oriole Garden Bistro, relax on the garden terrace and in the library, and have a drink at The Flying Dutchman bar. The spa has a heated indoor pool, sauna, hammam and gym.
