De Durgerdam is a boutique hotel in the former fishing village of Durgerdam, on the water between meadows and the IJmeer, about 15 minutes from the centre of Amsterdam. Its 14 rooms and suites in a 17th-century house and adjoining guesthouse feature muted historic colours, hand-painted Zuiderzee details and hand-glazed tiles; depending on the room there is a garden view, a veranda, a king-size bed and direct access to the IJmeer for a swim. Breakfast is included.
Waterside restaurant De Mark cooks with local, seasonal ingredients in collaboration with the chefs of restaurant group 212. There is a drawing room and private parking for up to 16 cars; you can also arrive by bike or boat.
