The Anne Frank House is dedicated to Anne Frank, her diary and the Secret Annex where she hid during the Second World War. With an audio tour you walk through the front house and the annex and learn about Anne, the others in hiding, their helpers, the persecution of the Jews and the war. A visit takes about an hour.
The audio tour is available in nine languages, and younger visitors can follow “Anne’s story”. The minimum age is 10.
The building has steep stairs and small rooms, so not all spaces are accessible to everyone; the museum offers support and alternatives for visitors with disabilities. The museum café overlooks the Prinsengracht.
Tickets
Tickets are sold only online at annefrank.org, for a specific time slot. They are released every Tuesday at 10:00 for visits six weeks later, and there is no ticket desk.
