The Amsterdam Cheese Museum introduces the history, traditions and craft of Dutch cheese. In the basement you learn how cheese developed and how craftsmanship shapes its flavour.
Entry is free, and so are the tastings of more than twenty types of cheese. Cheese you buy can be vacuum-packed for travel. The museum is close to the Anne Frank House.
Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 09:00–22:00, Sunday 09:00–21:00.
