Huis Marseille is a museum for photography in two historic canal houses on the Keizersgracht. It presents temporary exhibitions, usually running for three to four months. Because photographs are sensitive to light, there is no permanent collection display, and the museum closes for a week several times a year to install new exhibitions.
There is a museum shop with photo books. Because of the historic buildings, the museum is not wheelchair accessible.
Opening hours: 10:00–18:00, Thursdays until 21:00. Closed on 1 January, 27 April and 25 December, and during installation weeks.
Getting there: tram 2 or 12 from Centraal Station to Keizersgracht, then a four-minute walk.
