The Hemp Gallery is the second Amsterdam location of the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum. It is dedicated to the long history and many uses of hemp: from paper, sails and food to bioplastics, building materials, fashion and design. Highlights include an electric scooter with a hemp-fibre frame and a display on the spiritual meaning of hemp in traditional Japanese culture.
The gallery was renovated in 2021 and has an audio tour. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. The space is wheelchair accessible, and personal photography is allowed without flash or tripod.
