Last checked: September 2026 · Based on the official website

Sama Sebo, founded in 1969 by Sebo Woldringh, is an Indonesian restaurant on the P.C. Hooftstraat, close to the Rijksmuseum. Cooks with Javanese roots prepare authentic Tempo Doeloe flavours: gado-gado, an extensive rijsttafel or your own combination of meat, chicken, fish and vegetable dishes, with vegetarian options. Waiters in batik add to the traditional atmosphere of what is often called “Amsterdam’s living room”.

Open for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday; closed Sunday.
