Lokaal van de Stad is a café-restaurant on the corner of the Heemstedestraat and the Westlandgracht, with two floors and a large terrace over the water. Come for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks: world-kitchen dishes, changing specials and a wide selection of local beers and wines. You can work on your laptop, and there are games, football on screen, pub quizzes and vinyl sessions.
Open daily from 08:30 until 01:00 (02:00 on Friday and Saturday). Reservations only for eight or more, indoors. Tram 2 and the Heemstedestraat metro stop are nearby.
