ISSHIN is a small Japanese restaurant on the Frans Halsstraat in De Pijp, with a calm interior that evokes nostalgic Japan. It specialises in teishoku: balanced, seasonal set meals of rice, pickles, miso soup and vegetable sides with a main such as pork katsu, fried salmon, king oyster mushroom with sweet miso or homemade Japanese curry.
