Hakata Senpachi is a Japanese yakitori-ya on the Wielingenstraat in the Rivierenbuurt that has grilled chicken skewers over a charcoal hibachi, in the middle of the room, for more than 20 years. There is also ramen with homemade broths and sharing dishes such as chicken wings with yuzu pepper, cold tofu with dashi and aubergine with sweet miso, plus sake and cocktails.
Open Tuesday to Sunday 17:00–22:00; closed Monday.
