Kaagman & Kortekaas on the Sint Nicolaasstraat, just behind Dam Square, revolves around its open kitchen. Inspired by nature and the seasons, with game, fish and vegetables in the lead, the menu changes every six weeks: choose a four-, five- or six-course chef’s menu, including offal and vegetarian courses. Oysters and homemade charcuterie are on the à la carte.
Walk-ins can ask for a seat at the bar overlooking the chefs; orders until 21:30. Private dining with its own kitchen is available, and meals, charcuterie and wine can be taken away.
